The real estate appraisal firm Dr. Timmer GmbH prepares appraisals for virtually any type of real estate. Our certified appraisers prepare professional, independent appraisals for our clients. We work internationally as well as regionally for both business as well as private clients.

We optimize our work flows by digitalizing operational processes. Digital external databases combined with our proprietary software and database ensure uniform standards, precise processes, and up-to-date appraisals. We use the highest quality standards: Every appraisal is checked by two experienced appraisers according to the dual-control principle.

We highly value confidentiality. We safeguard our clients’ data by only using secured servers. Internally we work on a need-to-know basis. We naturally treat the data of our clients confidentially. Documents that clients have provided us are returned after completing the appraisal.

Team

Dr. Timmer is appraiser for the valuation of developed and undeveloped properties and is the managing director of the firm. He has extensive experience in investment banking and private equity in London and Frankfurt. His principal activity during this period was the valuation of companies and real estate portfolios in different sectors. He advised on 31 capital markets and M&A transactions with a combined value of close to 6 billion US dollars.

Dr. Timmer has a law degree from the University of Amsterdam as well as a Master in International Relations & Economics from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in Washington D.C. He obtained his doctorate degree in management studies summa cum laude at the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Vallendar, Germany.

Because of his international experience, Dr. Timmer is specialized in the valuation of real estate portfolios in Europe, the U.S., and Asia. Valuing supply chain assets, such as factories, warehouses, and logistics properties is a further focus. His client base mainly includes institutional investors, financial institutions, and corporates.
